keep it wonky

Anthropologie's wallpaper inspires me.  Oh, how I wish I had a place of my own.  Then I could plaster this and this and that wherever I pleased.

A girl can dream.  While I'm at it, I'm just going to go ahead and say that I find everything at Anthropologie inspiring.  I'd never set foot in another store again if I could ever in a million years afford not to.  Sigh.  That wallpaper sure is pretty though, eh?

Onto something a little more practical... tissue paper pom pom balls!  I WILL find a way to hang these in my room and it WILL look fabulous.

THIS WEDDING inspires me.  I just love it so much, even though I am a firm believer that heels should be worn on your wedding day.  At least something you wouldn't wear to the beach or a basketball game.  Is that too much to ask, girls?

THIS ROOM.  It's just so fresh and bright and... clean?  I love the mismatchedness of it... yes, mismatchedness.  And yet, it does match.  Genius.  Just look at that couch!  Yum.

While I've got you thinking about living rooms, I'd love to incorporate this into mine someday:

I love moving to a new place because it gets me all excited to decorate again!  I really want to get creative this time around (with my limited funds), and show the people (you?) what I can do!  Speaking of limited funds and couches I can't afford, I have my eye on this little beauty:
Oh, come on.  Give it a chance! (Jenn) In the right room this could be spectacular.  With this rug, maybe some big blue or yellow pillows, just the right coffee table, and (if I were feeling gutsy) these curtains...

(both from IKEA)

Just a thought.

Oh, and I have one more thing.

That makes me smile.  I want to hang it on my wall right this instant!  Let's all get one!

You caught me. I was totally "ugh"-ing about the couch. I guess it could work...if you did it right. And obviously, I disagree about the wedding shoes ;)

I made pompom balls and hung them in Bentlees room. They are cute!

Don't ask me why I know this, but the bride oragamied all the centerpiece flowers herself (like the one's she's holding in the one pic)!

I would have that couch and those curtains in a second. Too bad I'm poor. And Anthropologie is for richies.....
